Lacey, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, began her training with Pittsburgh Youth Ballet and the Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh. She spent summers performing with Joffrey Ballet School, Nashville Ballet, and Point Park University, studying under the direction of artists such as Francesa Corkle, Paul Vasterling, Nilas Martins, Elizabeth Corbett and many more. She earned a B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography from Mercyhurst University under the direction of Tauna Hunter and has performed principle and featured roles in works by Rick McCullough, Matthew Prescott, Hannah Baumgarten, Lesley Bories-Scalise, Solveig Santillano, along with George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, Walpurgisnacht, and Raymonda Variations and as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Dew Drop Fairy, and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. In addition to dancing with Lake Erie Ballet as a recurring guest artist, Lacey has choreographed works for main stage productions at Mercyhurst University and international venues. Lacey currently teaches classical ballet and pointe at the Dance Conservatory of Pittsburgh and LDI Danceworks, and also acts as Choreographer and Assistant Director for Seton-La Salle High School Musical.
